Lesson 13
As with the last lesson, my instructor told me that we were just going to have a spin around and test some skills. It turned out that my bay and parallel parking manoeuvres need a little more encouragement, but other than that, she rated my turn in the road and reverse around a corner as 100%!
On my way back, I did hit the kerb once (I steered a little early) and my instructor told me it was because she had encouraged me too much. I don’t know about that, but I think (and hope) it was a one-off. I also had to do a quick turn in the road as cars were coming from both sides, which made me more aware of the speed of the manoeuvre. Other than that, it was a pretty normal lesson.
I also got my test booked for the start of April, which means I have around eight lessons left before it. I’m a little nervous to be truthful, but I think with a little more practise I’ll get through it just fine.
