Lesson 18
Last lesson, I was a little worked up and tense, so I took some time to calm down after the lesson. I thought about all the pressure I was under and calmed myself. This lesson, I was probably the calmest I have ever been in a lesson!
Anyway, this was another do-it-all lesson. My instructor said that she was not going to do a mock test as she didn’t want a situation like last week, when I started to get angry at her for picking out what I thought were minor points. I started a usual drive and went to the usual places.
Today was a day for manoeuvres :) I did a turn in the road, an emergency stop, a left turn around a corner, parallel parking and bay parking. I also went down the road that I failed on for driving too slow. I did a good speed, well within the limit and made sure that I didn’t make the same mistake again.
I managed to stall only once, when I was setting off at a traffic light on a hill. Fortunately, I didn’t hit anyone behind me! Apart from that, I think I had a very good drive, and one which would have had me pass my test! Let’s just hope that I get the same good luck on the day :)
