Lesson 21
Well well well - my final lesson :) This lesson was more of a close to the 20 lessons I have had before. I did a bit of everything and my instructor assessmed me. She said that she thought I could pass the test without any problems. However, she told me that it wasn’t the major problems but the minor ones that were most likely to hit me, and so I had to be careful not to get too many minor faults, which may add up to a serious one. “Be confident but also a little cautious”, she advised.
I did stall a couple of times (probably due to being a little nervous) but I keep saying to myself that I will use the handbrake more and always use the accelarator before the clutch to try to stop myself from stalling, especially in a very inconvenient place.
I also tried to concentrate on keeping my hands above the middle of the steering wheel. My instructor told me that some examiners are very sensitive to little things like how you hold the wheel, and they can sometimes attribute this with poor steering, which is a serious fault. I hope I’ve learnt my lesson ;)
So, until my test, that’s it for now! Wish me luck!
